Projects
My work is strongly related with designing and implementing adaptive (self-healing) scheduling platforms for distributed systems such as grids or clouds. However I am also interested in designing distributed workflow systems such as the
OSyRIS engine. I received my Ph.D. in 2011. During my thesis work I developed as part of the
GiSHEO project the
OSyRIS workflow engine together with the SiLK language. They were initially intended for aiding the composition of image processing operations. The workflow engine, called
OSyRIS, was later integrated as part of the adaptive scheduling platform developed as part of my Ph.D. research.
More information on my research activities can be found on my homepage.
