        <s:content>{image:EPG-logo-168x125.jpg}&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;__Fraunhofer Enterprise Grids__ is a cooperation of four institutes within&#xD;&#xA;the Fraunhofer Society – the largest organization for applied research in&#xD;&#xA;Europe. Together these institutes can look back on a long history of&#xD;&#xA;research and development in the areas of industrial applications, high&#xD;&#xA;performance and grid computing as well as the management of complex&#xD;&#xA;software systems.&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;1.1 Objective&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;Within this cooperation it is the aim of Fraunhofer Enterprise Grids (EPG)&#xD;&#xA;to open up the paradigm of grid computing for industrial use and to&#xD;&#xA;support and push the transfer of innovative technologies from&#xD;&#xA;science to business and industry.
