http://dns2.icar.cnr.it/kgrid/ :VEGA is a Visual Environment for Grid Applications programmed in Java. It provides a set of facilities supporting the design and execution of Knowledge Discovery applications over Computational Grids running the
Globus Toolkit grid environment. VEGA is integrated within the
Knowledge Grid to allow user to access its features and services through an intuitive and easy graphical user interface.
The process of designing and executing a Knowledge Discovery application can be summarized in the following steps:
- graphic composition of the overall application (using visual facilities);
- validation of the graphic model (executed by the system);
- execution of the application on the underlying Knowledge Grid infrastructure.
